Ryan Renne
CEO & Co-Founder
Ryan Renne co-founded FreightSaver in July 2014, though he has 26 years experience in the industry. He started as a nighttime biller, worked his way up into Operations, and eventually caught the entrepreneurial bug to start his own company.
Ryan’s experience in Operations and his passion for technology has led to creating enterprise solutions to help clients operate more efficiently and reduce costs.
Ryan loves leading a team of people who are dedicated to providing customers with exceptional service, and who work together to find each customer the right solution for them.
Ryan’s a busy father of six, so his free time is spent focusing on his kids. He volunteers as much as possible with their activities, and has coached football and softball for nearly 20 years.
Buster Schwab
President & Co-Founder
Walter “Buster” Schwab co-founded FreightSaver in July 2014, but he’s a veteran in the industry, having held various roles since the early 1990s. Buster has done everything from territory sales to Operations and terminal management, to sales and brokerage.
In 2000, Buster and Ryan ventured off on their own and their success led to eventually starting FreightSaver, which has quickly grown in success and is a recognized Inc. 500 Company.
Buster finds it rewarding to have built a culture of people who truly care for one another as well as the success of the company.
Though free time is rare, when he finds it, Buster loves spending time with his family, playing golf, traveling, and being World’s Best Grandpa.
Jay Hughitt
Executive Vice President of Sales
Jay Hughitt has been with FreightSaver since its inception in July 2014. He has worked in the industry since 2008.
Jay loves knowing that the FreightSaver team is working hard to build something special, creating value for its customers, and creating a future for its employees. He truly enjoys working with and learning from Buster and Ryan every day.
Jay’s non-FreightSaver interests include mountain biking, craft beer, and cheering on his kids at their sporting events.
